Maintenance Reliability Manager

The position of Maintenance Reliability Manager is based in Carrollton, GA. As the Maintenance Reliability Manager, your main responsibility will be to implement and develop predictive and preventative maintenance activities to ensure the reliability of equipment and processes. Your role will involve providing effective leadership to the repair and maintenance team, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient high-quality production. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment in excellent condition through a world-class preventative maintenance program and implementing key metrics for continuous improvement in both staff and equipment. Your Duties and Responsibilities: Please note that this list of duties is not exhaustive, as all positions at our company are dynamic and require flexibility to meet our customers' needs. - You are expected to carry out any duties assigned by management, even if they are not specifically included in this list. - Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities who may have difficulties performing the job in the indicated manner. - Your responsibilities will include directing employees in the repair of electrical and mechanical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints. - You will schedule and assign employees to daily tasks for maintaining production equipment through work orders, follow up to ensure completion of work. - Managing the maintenance technicians' schedule and maintaining a database for equipment calibrations such as spark testers, lump necks, and line counters. - Providing leadership and support to guide employees in testing malfunctioning machinery using test equipment and discussing malfunctions with other maintenance workers to diagnose properly. - Play a leadership role in supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives. - Diagnosing and replacing faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. - Collaborating with other operation team members, including process engineers, to identify existing equipment and process deficiencies. - Modifying equipment and/or processes to achieve the principal objective. - Managing the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment, and initiating reordering when necessary. - Negotiating and developing relationships with vendors to ensure the best prices. - Preparing reports, analyzing data, and making recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems. - Ensuring maintenance associates are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to carry out maintenance activities in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. - Maintaining a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and maintenance history of production equipment. - Tracking, analyzing, and improving key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, and schedule compliance. Qualifications and Experience Requirements: To qualify for this position, you should have the following qualifications and experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Previous experience in a technical supervisory role, demonstrating your ability to manage effectively. - Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls. - Five years of electrical experience with manufacturing equipment. - Five years of mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment. - Experience in troubleshooting digital controls. - Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to read specifications and prints. - Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
