Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY
Ensure continuous and reliable operation of facility, manufacturing, and support systems across the plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a member of the management team, promoting Safety, Quality, and Productivity within a food manufacturing environment.

• Evaluate the efficiency of manufacturing and facility support systems, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.

• Provide coaching and guidance to team members on effective troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and systems.

• Supervise team members’ job performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and professional standards.

• Mentor team members to support their skill development and career growth.

• Oversee and enhance the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs across all facility equipment and systems.

• Use the CMMS system for managing work orders, inventory, purchase orders, and equipment maintenance history.

• Troubleshoot and repair control systems, including network issues related to PCs, PLCs, and human-machine interfaces.

• Apply advanced electrical troubleshooting skills for power distribution, motor controls, VFDs, servo controllers, and robotics.

• Diagnose and resolve issues with automated packaging machinery.

• Troubleshoot process equipment such as pumps, valves, flow meters, and mixers.

• Apply working knowledge to resolve issues in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Maintain and troubleshoot facility support systems including steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration.

• Interpret and work from electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
