Maintenance Specialist - Day Shift (Equipment Maintenance Technician)

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Proficiency in diagnosing and providing effective recommendations for repairing overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, and various types of machinery is essential.

• Familiarity with motor repairs, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems is necessary.
• Identify sources of malfunction by observing mechanical devices in operation and listening for unusual sounds.
• Perform monthly inspections on production equipment and coordinate with department managers.
• Examine parts to detect imperfections, replace defective parts, and install special functional components.
• Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of parts.
• Test device performance after repairs.
• Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and man lifts.
• Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment.
• Identify and resolve malfunctions by discussing machine operation variations with supervisors and maintenance workers.
• Disassemble defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
• Repair or replace electrical apparatus and components.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related equipment.
• Repair the physical structure of the establishment and handle automated machinery and equipment.
• Utilize cutting torches or welding equipment for metal parts.
• Fabricate and repair wooden structures.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality, and be able to work on-site and overtime.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, vendors, and management.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work well with team members in the department.
