Manager – Assurance Services
Our client is seeking specialized expert assistance in Accounting Advisory, Audit & Assurance, Business Consulting, Buy-Side Advisory, Employee Benefit Plans, Estate Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Tax Compliance & Consulting at their Lakewood, NJ location. The range of services provided covers various industries such as Construction, Distribution, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Motion Picture, Nonprofit, Real Estate, and services.
As the Assurance Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the fieldwork of the assurance services staff and taking on management and supervisory roles in different assurance and audit-related client engagements and projects of different sizes and scopes.
Focusing exclusively on privately held, entrepreneurial businesses, we provide assurance services that include:
- Conducting audits, reviews, and compilation engagements
- Performing agreed-upon procedures
- Evaluating internal control: reviewing accounting processes and analyzing key financial metrics
- Preparing forecasts and projections
- Assisting with due diligence and acquisitions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA qualification
- At least 7 years of experience in public accounting
- Proven experience in managing client engagements and building relationships
- Excellent leadership skills
- Preferred but not necessary: experience in Healthcare or Skilled Nursing
