Manager of Engineering and Project Management

Engineering and Project Supervision Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

· Supervise and delegate tasks, objectives, and completion dates to the project management and engineering teams respectively.

· Develop, monitor, and assess performance KPIs for all team members, with a focus on leading indicators.

  • Provide leadership and technical expertise by introducing new tools, techniques, and problem-solving approaches.

· Maintain and organize engineering drawings, schematics, material lists, and documentation in a clear and structured manner.

· Ensure accurate maintenance of part numbers, material masters, BOMs, HTS codes, and material descriptions in the SAP ERP system.

· Develop skills and talent within the teams.

· Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

· Coordinate resources across multiple departments (engineering, procurement, planning, expediting, manufacturing, quality) to complete project-related tasks.

· Conduct risk management exercises to identify and mitigate project and company risks.

· Review and analyze Gross Margin from initial sale to final project margin.

· Proactively manage On-Time Delivery (OTD), Sales, and Gross Margin.

· Support sales estimates as necessary.

· Prepare and present operational data to upper management and stakeholders.

· Influence others effectively to achieve goals.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with sales and finance teams.

Carry out other assigned duties as per management's instructions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Directly oversee 5 employees across 2 departments.

  • Implement and enforce the organization's policies and applicable laws regarding employee supervision.

· Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving conflicts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's Degree (BA) from an accredited college or university, specializing in engineering, business, or supply chain management, or more than ten (10) years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Proficiency in 3D CAD systems is required, preferably AutoCad Mechanical

· Familiarity with SAP is desirable but not mandatory

· Proficient use of MS Excel is required

· Experience using Analysis for Office (SAP extension) is desirable

· Preferred PMP certification

· Proven experience in project management and engineering

· Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

S Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 + 10% bonus
