Manufacturing Quality Assurance Manager

• A four-year degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Management is necessary for consideration.
• To be considered, you must have at least four years of experience managing a quality assurance team in a manufacturing setting and a minimum of ten years of experience in a quality role at a manufacturing company.
• This position requires up to twenty percent of travel within the United States and Mexico.
• Compensation for this role goes up to $90,000.

• This is an onsite position, and remote work is not available.
• You will be a full-time, permanent employee on a W-2 payroll with full benefits.

We currently have a full-time Manager of Manufacturing Quality Assurance opportunity available at a successful and expanding custom Original Equipment Manufacturer in Baraboo, WI. This company has experienced significant growth, adding four new manufacturing sites in recent years. As the Manager of Manufacturing Quality Assurance, you will be based at the corporate headquarters and will be responsible for the following:

• Supervising a team of five direct reports, with the potential for future growth to 12 direct reports.
• Driving the continuous improvement of quality across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Collaborating with manufacturing and sales teams to identify and implement customer-focused quality enhancements.
• Developing and executing a comprehensive quality strategy to promote and improve quality standards throughout the organization's manufacturing sites.
• Partnering with senior management to integrate quality principles into business strategies and decision-making processes.
• Implementing policies and procedures related to quality control.
• Engaging with customers to ensure their quality expectations are met.
• Traveling up to 20% of the time to various customer sites and manufacturing facilities in the United States and Mexico.
• Proactively addressing and resolving quality-related issues.
• Documenting and investigating any quality concerns and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• A four-year degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Management.
• At least four years of experience leading a quality assurance team in a manufacturing environment.
• A minimum of ten years of experience in a quality role at a manufacturing company.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to twenty percent within the United States and Mexico.
• Proven work history demonstrating your expertise and achievements in quality management.
• You must be a United States citizen or a Green Card holder.
• Residence within a 45-minute drive of the Baraboo, Wisconsin area is required.
