We are currently seeking a Managing Director to join our exceptional Internal Audit team in North Hollywood, CA. This opportunity has opened up due to the recent promotion of our previous Managing Director to Partner. Our work environment offers a hybrid model, allowing for a combination of remote and onsite work. You will have the flexibility you've come to enjoy over the past year while still providing our valued clients with in-person service. Local travel within North Hollywood is required. You can anticipate spending an average of two days per week meeting clients or working in the office, with the remaining three days working from home.
Responsibilities
As the Managing Director, you will lead a team of professionals, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional internal auditing services. This encompasses controls assessment, ERM, GRC, business process improvement, anti-fraud measures, investigations, and more.
You will oversee all aspects of our Internal Audit Advisory services, ensuring the successful achievement of engagement metrics and actively seeking opportunities to expand our service offerings and client base.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. A Master's or MBA degree in finance, business, engineering, economics or a related field is highly preferred.
You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial external audit and/or internal audit, ideally with a Big-4 or a national public accounting firm. Candidates with less than three years of experience outside of public accounting will also be considered.
CPA, Chartered Accountant, and/or CIA/CISA certification is required.
You should possess a proven track record of delivering internal audit advisory engagements to a wide range of clients within a professional services capacity.
The ability to establish executive presence and act as the primary contact for assigned engagements is essential.
You should have a knack for generating new business by leveraging existing relationships and developing new ones through various means.
You must be comfortable operating in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to unexpected changes in timelines, deadlines, and scope.
Demonstrated experience in managing staffing, client relationships, and projects on a day-to-day basis is required.
You must have a proven record of effective leadership and management within a growing professional services organization.
