Managing Director – Internal Audit

Currently, we are seeking a Director of Internal Audit to join our team in Thousand Oaks, CA. This position has become available due to the recent promotion of the previous Director. We offer a hybrid work environment that allows for remote work and onsite service to our exceptional clients in Los Angeles. You will be required to spend an average of two days per week meeting clients or working in the office, with the remaining three days working from home.
Responsibilities:
As the Director of Internal Audit, you will lead a team of professionals and be responsible for providing high-value solutions to our clients in various areas, including internal auditing, controls assessment, ERM, GRC, business process improvement, anti-fraud, and investigations, among others.
You will manage all aspects of our Internal Audit Advisory services, ensuring that each engagement meets projected metrics and identifying opportunities to expand our services and client base within the Internal Audit Advisory service line.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. A Master's or MBA degree in finance, business, engineering, economics, or a related field would be highly preferred.
You should also have a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial external audit and/or internal audit, preferably with a Big-4 or national public accounting firm. We are open to considering candidates who have been out of public accounting for less than three years.
CPA, Chartered Accountant, and/or CIA/CISA certification is required for this role.
In addition, we are looking for candidates with a demonstrated track record in delivering internal audit advisory engagements to clients within a professional services capacity. You should have excellent executive presence and the ability to act as the primary contact for assigned engagements. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to generate new business opportunities are also essential.
Furthermore, you should thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced environments, and be able to quickly adapt to unexpected changes. Experience in managing staffing, client relationships, and projects is required, and leadership skills in a professional services organization are highly valued.

- Base Pay $201,000-$214,000
- Sales commission and performance bonus in addition to the base pay
