Position: Automotive Sales Representative
Location: Detroit, MI (Flexible Remote)
A new and innovative startup in the auto industry is seeking an Automotive Sales Representative to expand their presence in the U.S. market.
Our company has developed a cutting-edge solution to enhance driver safety by preventing access to distracting apps on cell phones while driving.
The Sales Representative will focus on selling to the automotive and related industries, with an emphasis on fleets and aftermarket (Experience in these areas is required).
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to enter the rapidly evolving automotive industry.
The successful candidate may be based in any location within the U.S., but must be willing to travel.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue opportunities with companies operating fleets of automobiles, trucks, and buses
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the mobility market
- Assist potential customers in realizing the full benefits of our solution
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our product's features, benefits, and applications
- Help define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress towards achieving objectives
- Collaborate with pre-market original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to integrate our technology into vehicle assembly lines
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular reports to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline
- Previous sales experience in the mobility market
- Strong knowledge of mobile technology
- Proven ability to generate new business leads and secure meetings
Note: This position will initially be offered as a contract 1099 role
