Compensation: Up to $125,000 annually for highly qualified candidates

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Automation Supervisor will lead a team of Automation Technicians and Programmers, guiding them through the design, programming, installation, and commissioning of advanced automation systems. This hands-on leadership role involves managing multiple projects, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring the successful integration of custom-built automation solutions while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor Automation Technicians and Programmers, assign tasks, and oversee training and development

Lead the design of control systems, PLC/HMI programming, panel construction, machine wiring, and system commissioning

Manage multiple automation projects, independently troubleshoot complex electrical and hydraulic systems, and drive full system integration

Interface with customers to define project scopes, provide technical support, conduct training, and travel for system installations, retrofits, and commissioning

Ensure adherence to safety protocols, review and approve designs, oversee parts procurement, perform quality audits, and manage scheduling and performance evaluations
Required Background:

Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in automation programming

At least 1 year of leadership experience in automation or controls engineering

Associate’s degree in Electromechanical or Automation Engineering Technology (or related field) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Solid and stable work history

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder)

Must reside within a 45-minute commute of the facility
