Compensation: Up to $125,000 annually for highly qualified candidates

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Automation Supervisor will lead a team of Automation Technicians and Programmers, guiding them through the design, programming, installation, and commissioning of advanced automation systems. This hands-on leadership role involves managing multiple projects, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring the successful integration of custom-built automation solutions while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor Automation Technicians and Programmers, assign tasks, and oversee training and development

  • Lead the design of control systems, PLC/HMI programming, panel construction, machine wiring, and system commissioning

  • Manage multiple automation projects, independently troubleshoot complex electrical and hydraulic systems, and drive full system integration

  • Interface with customers to define project scopes, provide technical support, conduct training, and travel for system installations, retrofits, and commissioning

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, review and approve designs, oversee parts procurement, perform quality audits, and manage scheduling and performance evaluations

Required Background:

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in automation programming

  • At least 1 year of leadership experience in automation or controls engineering

  • Associate’s degree in Electromechanical or Automation Engineering Technology (or related field) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Solid and stable work history

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder)

  • Must reside within a 45-minute commute of the facility

  • On-site position only; remote work is not available
