PLC Controls Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Whippany, New Jersey Area (Local Candidates Only – No Relocation)

A respected control systems company with over 40 years in the industry is seeking a PLC Controls Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for both experienced professionals and recent technical graduates to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge control and automation systems. U.S. Citizenship and strong English communication skills are required.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to communicate clearly in English

• Must reside within commuting distance of Whippany, NJ

• Only local NJ/NYC metro area applicants will be considered

Qualifications:

• Experience with:

  • Panel wiring

  • PLCs and HMIs

  • Motor drives and control systems

  • Variable frequency drives (VFDs)

  • Troubleshooting electronics to the component level (a plus)

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

Entry-level candidates with a BSEE, MSEE, or related technical degree are encouraged to apply. Please include detailed descriptions of your experience with PLCs, controls, electronics, and panel wiring on your resume.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $65K – $90K (based on experience)

• Overtime potential: $10K – $15K additional annually
