Our client is seeking a talented Production Engineering Manager to oversee and manage all technical aspects of manufacturing at their facility. This well-established company specializes in the production of large agricultural and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 12 engineers, programmers, and technicians, ensuring timely project completion and providing guidance in design decisions.
- Establish departmental goals and objectives aligned with overall engineering objectives.
- Develop training programs and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.
- Review new designs during product development, suggesting modifications to optimize cost, quality, safety, and production capabilities.
- Provide technical support for design and manufacturing issues.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes to improve cost-effectiveness, productivity, quality, safety, and feasibility. Collaborate with the Director of Operations to implement cost-reduction projects.
- Address safety, quality, and production issues promptly and effectively.
- Oversee the purchase of manufacturing assets and manage plant layout and expansion projects in collaboration with the Director of Operations.
- Act as a liaison between production, design engineering, production and inventory control, and sales to ensure efficient production processes and coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in leading or managing engineering professionals within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in sheet metal manufacturing (cut, bend, machine, welding, paint, and assembly).
- Experience in lean manufacturing methodologies.
