🚨 Must-Haves:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Materials) or Business
-
2–5 years of direct manufacturing leadership experience, including front-line supervisor management
-
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver on operational goals
-
Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Skilled in using tools like Control Plans, JSAs, Standard Work, and basic TPM practices
-
Ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the organization
✅ Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is preferred
✅ Experience with SPC software (Infinity QS, WinSPC, or similar) and process capability metrics is a plus

What You’ll Do:

Own the full value stream as the business unit leader, reporting directly to the Plant Manager

Lead and develop front-line supervisors to achieve key performance goals in safety, quality, and productivity
-
Drive a zero-injury workplace by implementing and enforcing JSAs, control plans, and safe work standards
-
Ensure process control and stability through effective use of Standard Work, TPM, and Lean tools
-
Monitor production metrics and take action to meet or exceed targets for cost, quality, and throughput
-
Be the primary contact for upstream and downstream internal customers in the production process

Align departmental activities with the plant’s 1–3-year strategic goals
-
Champion Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce costs, improve yields, and streamline operations
-
Oversee execution of annual cost reduction targets and support plant-wide process ownership
-
Support TPM activities by partnering with Maintenance and Engineering to drive equipment performance
-
Execute training programs to develop a multi-skilled workforce
-
Lead Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and empower operator leaders to take ownership of outcomes
