Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate engineering drawings and specifications into detailed, production-ready documentation.

  • Develop, refine, and document robust and efficient manufacturing processes for both new and existing products.

  • Lead implementation of new production methods and support product transitions into manufacturing.

  • Work closely with design engineering to ensure manufacturing scalability and design intent.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve process issues.

  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9000 standards through updated procedures, forms, and work instructions.

  • Validate processes before production, including leading PFMEAs, control plans, and capability studies.

  • Support design and procurement of tooling, fixtures, and production equipment.

  • Monitor initial production runs to ensure process stability and product quality.

  • Proactively identify process risks and apply preventive quality measures.

  • Utilize lean manufacturing tools to streamline operations and reduce waste.

  • Support and lead internal audits and corrective actions for process-related quality issues.

  • Facilitate Kaizen events and lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

  • Serve as the key link between Quality, Operations, and Engineering to ensure alignment across production requirements.

  • Train production staff on new and revised processes to ensure consistent execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) required.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.

  • Proven expertise in process design, validation, and continuous improvement.

  • ERP experience required; familiarity with Syteline is a plus.

  • Background in ISO quality systems and standards.

  • Experience with industrial or heavy-duty product manufacturing is preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software.

  • Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives and meet deadlines.

  • Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is strongly preferred.
