Our client is seeking a talented Market Manager specializing in Chemical Mixing & Extrusion. This role is focused on the chemical segment and requires excellent communication skills to generate and maintain business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to navigate complex organizations and drive growth in new markets.

We prefer candidates located in the Richmond, VA area. The salary for this position ranges from $97k to $123k, depending on experience. You will also be eligible for a bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a profit sharing contribution to your 401k, as well as a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Actively seeking and developing sales opportunities for assigned portfolio across various markets and territories
• Identifying new business opportunities and growth areas in the industry, developing business cases, and creating actionable plans
• Planning and executing complex development projects within specified deadlines and aligning them with business needs
• Presenting technical papers at regional, domestic, and international conferences/meetings, and potentially chairing conferences

Required skills and qualifications:

• Demonstrated project management skills and a proactive approach to compliance
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in large meetings
• At least 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales, business development, or a related scientific field
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
• Valid driver's license and passport
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field, or exceptional relevant industry experience
