As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for overseeing complex forecasting activities to achieve production objectives. This role requires expertise in planning for new products or variable manufacturing processes.

Your main responsibilities will be to serve as the link between Supply Chain and Customer Service, acting as the voice of both the plant and the customer. Some of your key duties will include:

• Evaluating engineering plans and product specifications to determine the raw material needs for manufacturing schedules.
• Collaborating with the Purchasing team to obtain and schedule materials based on production forecasts.
• Working with Engineering and other relevant departments to develop tools and procedures that optimize facility and equipment utilization.
• Supervising and supporting lower-level planners as required.

Requirements:

Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of various manufacturing activities, including purchasing, materials management, production processes, and engineering. The ability to comprehend and apply engineering specifications is crucial. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
