In this role, you will be responsible for designing innovative products and enhancing existing machinery using SolidWorks. Your involvement will extend beyond just design work as you will also collaborate with the sales department to assist with proposals and support the manufacturing team during the production phase.

Job Overview
  • Design new equipment, sub-assemblies, and components using SolidWorks
  • Perform engineering calculations for loads, weights, and stresses
  • Create and maintain design drawings, shop prints, and manufacturing job packets
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide proposal drawings of equipment
  • Develop CNC programs for machining and metal fabrication equipment
  • Establish engineering standards for manufacturing purposes
  • Offer technical support to the service team as needed
  • Conduct cost analyses for existing products to determine appropriate pricing
Requirements for Candidates
  • Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Have at least three years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the capital equipment industry
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using SolidWorks
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
