We are currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Project Engineer for a growing custom structural, system, and metal component manufacturer. Our diverse customer base includes biotechnology, food, and pharmaceutical companies. At our company, we prioritize the professional development and career advancement of our employees. For individuals who demonstrate aptitude and drive, there is potential for advancement into a project management role. This position has become available due to the increasing demand for our products. The responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop schedules and budgets for various custom engineering projects.
  • Design, engineer, fabricate, and test custom engineering projects.
  • Review detailed 3D SolidWorks drawings for custom engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors and customers from various industries.
  • Work alongside engineering and production staff members.
  • Provide support to project engineers and work in coordination with them.
  • Create the Production Ready Library and Engineering Change Notices.
  • Generate bills of materials for projects.
  • Coordinate integrations of various components.
  • Oversee field installations of engineered systems.

To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

  • At least two years of experience as a Project Engineer, specifically in the biotechnology, food, or pharmaceutical field with sanitary piping.
  • A four-year engineering degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with at least two years of experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A stable work history.
  • Either US citizenship or possession of a green card.
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute from Whitewater, WI.
