We are currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Project Engineer to join our growing team. As a custom structural, system, and metal component manufacturer, we work with diverse clientele in industries such as biotechnology, food, and pharmaceuticals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance to a project management role based on their aptitude and drive. This position is necessary due to the increased demand for our products and our company's continued growth. The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Effectively managing projects to meet deadlines and budget requirements
  • Scheduling and budgeting various custom engineering projects
  • Designing, engineering, fabricating, and testing custom engineering projects
  • Reviewing detailed 3D SolidWorks drawings for custom engineering projects
  • Collaborating with vendors and customers
  • Working closely with engineering and production teams
  • Providing support and assistance to project engineers
  • Developing the Production Ready Library
  • Creating Engineering Change Notices
  • Preparing bills of materials
  • Coordinating project integrations
  • Overseeing field installations

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Project Engineering Manager or Project Engineer
  • Two years of engineering design experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or three years of engineering experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or food industries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a minimum of two years of experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Stable work history with proven success
  • US citizenship or possession of a green card
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute
