The company utilizes industry-specific engineering software that operates online and automates the entire sales application engineering process. Customers input their data through the website, and the software provides automated quotes, proposals, and follow-ups, freeing Sales Application Engineers to focus on delivering the best-suited products to customers. The software ensures that potential customers receive quotes and proposals in as little as fifteen minutes. Travel is not required for this position. The following are the expected duties and responsibilities:
  • Spend 30% of the time engaging with customers over the phone.
  • Apply engineering knowledge to address technical aspects related to company products.
  • Analyze customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Utilize software throughout the sales process.
  • Assess and propose appropriate alternatives to the company's sales professionals.
  • Communicate effectively through telephone, email, and virtual channels.


Experience in combustion-related work would be advantageous. The successful candidate should have the following background:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in engineering.
  • Possess at least five years of mechanical engineering experience.
  • Be capable of establishing rapport and effectively communicating with customers via phone.
  • Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Have two or more years of experience in industrial sales.
  • Have a solid work history.

  • Reside within a 45-minute drive of the work location.
