About the Role

The Medical Malpractice and Elder Abuse teams represent healthcare professionals, public entities, and medical facilities throughout Southern California. The practice includes civil litigation at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as allied health board hearings, administrative hearings, drug and medical device litigation, managed care disputes, and elder abuse defense.

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-rounded Associate Attorney with at least three (3) years of relevant experience to join the Medical Malpractice & Elder Abuse Team in our Los Angeles office.

You will work closely with senior associates and partners across all phases of litigation—from initial case evaluation and discovery through trial—while applying strategic thinking to achieve client goals. We're looking for attorneys who are proactive, collaborative, and invested in long-term professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to extensive written discovery, including interrogatories, document requests, and requests for admission

• Communicate proactively with clients throughout the litigation process

• Provide timely and accurate reporting to clients, ensuring compliance with case management protocols

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in medical malpractice litigation

• Experience in elder abuse law is a plus

• Familiarity with the healthcare industry and related regulations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage a full caseload in a fast-paced environment

• Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Proficiency with current litigation best practices and tools

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $125,000 – $165,000, commensurate with experience
