Medical Technologist – Technical Support Specialist & Trainer
Location: Greater Miami, FL Area (No Relocation Offered)

A top-tier medical laboratory device manufacturer is seeking a Medical Technologist to serve as a Technical Support Specialist & Trainer. This is a rewarding opportunity to apply your laboratory expertise in a dynamic, client-facing role involving training, technical support, and regional travel. Fluency in Spanish is required for this role.

• Do you have a BS in Medical Technology or a related discipline?

• Do you have 5 years of current or recent Medical Technologist experience?

• Are you ASCP Certified?

• Are you fluent in Spanish?

• Do you reside in the greater Miami, FL area?

• Can you do overnight travel?

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist

• ASCP Certification is required

• Must be fluent in Spanish

• Coagulation experience is preferred (should be detailed on your resume)

• Must live within a 30-minute commute of Miami; no relocation assistance available

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical training to medical technologists on laboratory instrumentation

• Play a key role during new equipment installations, including procedure documentation

• Troubleshoot and resolve reagent, kit, procedural, and software-related issues

• Provide post-sales technical support for laboratory instrumentation

• Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and hands-on workshops

• Offer remote (phone) support to users as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $70K – $90K (based on experience)

• Commission + Annual Bonus (estimated $7K–$10K+, potentially more)
