What we are looking for:

• Graduate from an accredited Associates or Bachelors Degree program in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification is mandatory.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a generalist.

Hours and compensation:

• Working hours are from 2pm to 10:30pm, with a weekend rotation.
• Hourly compensation ranges from $21.16/hr to $30.68/hr for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) and from $24.64/hr to $35.73/hr for Medical Technologists (MTs), depending on experience.
• Different shift differentials apply, with an additional $3.25/hr during the week and $3.00/hr on the weekends.
• A comprehensive benefits package is offered, along with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform specimen collection, processing, testing, and result reporting in accordance with the laboratory's policy and procedure manual.
• Conduct quality control, maintenance, and calibrations for all analytical testing.
• Assist in collecting Chain-of-Custody Urine Drug Screens, Breath Alcohol Testing, and Hair samples for Occupational Health.
• Participate in performance improvement activities within the department and oversee daily infection prevention and control measures.

• The incumbent will work as a generalist and may also be required to perform phlebotomy and drug screen collections when necessary.
