Metallurgical Engineer

As a Material Scientist, you will be actively involved in the field of materials science, leveraging your expertise to develop innovative materials. What you will be doing:

  • You will be responsible for defining the metallurgical requirements for casted projects.
  • Your role involves troubleshooting problems with castings.
  • You will provide technical support to both internal and external customers.
  • You may also lead or participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical or Materials Engineering.
  • Prior hands-on experience of at least 5 years working with casting metallurgy.
  • You must be a team player capable of collaborating with staff at all levels.
  • Note: Due to the nature of our defense work, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience with induction furnace melting, arc melting, and AOD refining is highly beneficial.
  • Having extensive knowledge of alloys, particularly those involving copper, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Six-Sigma / Lean Manufacturing practices is also advantageous.
