ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - CORPORATE

A highly respected law firm in the Southeast is currently seeking a skilled Associate Attorney specializing in corporate law to join their team in Charlotte. This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated attorney with a focus on international matters to work on intricate corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, within a collaborative and client-centric environment.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate:

• Hold a Juris Doctorate from a premier law school with a proven academic track record.
• Active membership to the Bar in North Carolina.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the field of corporate law and commercial transactions.
• Experience in managing commercial contracts such as supply agreements, technology contracts, and distributor agreements.
• Proficient in corporate structuring, governance, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Preference for candidates with international experience and fluency in a foreign language, particularly German.
• Exceptional writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal guidance primarily to international clients on corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, such as supply agreements, sales representative agreements, and distributor agreements.
• Handle UCC transactions and matters related to corporate formation and governance.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex business transactions.
• Stay updated on legal developments that impact corporate and commercial law.
