Candidate Profile:

• Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD)Degree, preferably from a highly regarded law school with an excellent academic track record.
• Active bar admission in South Carolina is a requirement.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate litigation.
• Demonstrated ability in effectively dealing with hearings, discovery, and depositions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to compile intricate legal research.
• Interest or prior experience in areas such as eminent domain/condemnation, property rights, land use, zoning/entitlements, real estate development, commercial real estate transactions, or real estate litigation.
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a high-volume practice.

• Represent various clients, including property and business owners, as well as governmental entities and utilities, in matters related to eminent domain and condemnation.
• Provide guidance and advice to clients throughout all stages of eminent domain proceedings and property disputes.
• Oversee and manage a wide range of litigation duties, such as drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, preparing for depositions, and attending hearings.
• Collaborate with a proficient team of attorneys to develop strategies, negotiate settlements, and advocate for clients' interests in complex property disputes.
• Deliver exceptional legal counsel and support to clients involved in commercial real estate litigation.
