Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Renewable Energy Finance Associate Attorney to join their Finance Practice Group and Energy Sector. This exciting opportunity is available in Houston, TX.

About the Role:

  • Graduate of an accredited law school with excellent academic achievements.
  • Must be an active member of the Bar or eligible for prompt admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 3-5 years of solid experience in handling renewable energy transactions.
  • Specialization in renewable energy project finance, tax credit transactions, and due diligence matters.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents, including credit agreements and tax equity documents.
  • Ability to oversee reviews by subject-matter experts and ensure successful transaction closures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Prior experience in a leading law firm is preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage in renewable energy project finance transactions, including tax credit and due diligence matters.
  • Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents, such as credit agreements and tax equity documents.
  • Oversee project document reviews, manage subject-matter specialist reviews, and close transactions.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic and growing team within the Energy Sector to achieve long-term strategic objectives.
