MRI Technologist
MRI SPECIALIST

Working closely with the Department Manager, supervising Lead Technologist and collaborating with the Radiologists, the MRI Specialist is responsible for conducting a variety of magnetic resonance imaging procedures and related activities in accordance with department standards and age-specific criteria. They will also serve as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff, while participating in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Acting as a clinical and technical resource, the MRI Specialist will offer support to other technologists and radiologists, and be available for on-call duties to ensure adequate staffing levels for the department.
Minimum qualifications:
- Must possess a National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification upon hire, or equivalent
- Must possess a National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists certification upon hire, or equivalent
- Must possess a National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire, or equivalent
Preferred qualifications:
- Completion of a radiologic technology program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT) upon hire
- Minimum of 5 years experience as the primary technologist in a high volume MRI facility
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
