Candidate Profile:

• With 5 to 7 years of experience in title underwriting, including a strong preference for commercial underwriting, you will have an in-depth understanding of the industry.

• You possess extensive knowledge of real estate law, encompassing both federal and state regulations.

• Due to your background, you have a thorough understanding of real estate title processes and settlement procedures.

• You exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to effectively assess complex transactions.

• Your strong negotiation skills enable you to present alternative solutions in a compelling manner.

• You excel at building relationships and collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills are reinforced by your ability to articulate complex information clearly.

• You have strong organizational abilities and can effectively manage multiple tasks.

• Your creative and strategic thinking skills allow you to offer innovative solutions to challenges.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert underwriting counsel and support to our company personnel and clients regarding real estate title insurance commitments and policies.

• Utilize delegated authority and adhere to underwriting standards and guidelines to accurately evaluate risk and issue title insurance.

• Offer guidance to our company personnel on best practices for real estate settlement services.

• Ensure strict compliance with underwriting standards, guidelines, and established company procedures.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients to resolve underwriting challenges and elevate service delivery.
