Compensation range: $56.42 - $90.28 + Bonus + OT + Signing Bonus

***Full Time Neonatal Nurse specialist needed for night shifts, averaging four shifts per week***

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of a pediatrician and reporting to the Director of Patient Care Services and Department of Pediatrics Chair, the Registered Nurse will assume an expanded role. According to the June 1990 National Association of Neonatal Nurses, the Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) is prepared through education to take on a role beyond basic nursing preparation, with an emphasis on neonatal nursing. The APN manages sick newborns and their families, collaborating with and receiving general supervision from a pediatrician. With extensive knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and physiology, the APN will independently assess, diagnose, and initiate certain medical processes and procedures. The APN will also serve as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and contribute to education, consultation, and research efforts. Privileges must be maintained through the Medical Staff Office.

(1) Valid CA NNP License; (2) Current NRP and BLS certifications


Strong communication skills are essential, including proficiency in written and spoken English. Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
