Job Overview

  • As a member of the corporate engineering group, you will drive the implementation of new product projects and ensure compliance with project gate requirements
  • Provide support in ensuring quality, safety, cost, and productivity goals are met
  • Conduct production trials for stamping, bending, welding, and assembly processes
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and process improvement opportunities within manufacturing operations
  • Develop standards, process plans, and tooling and fixturing work plans to enhance operational efficiency
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing systems and lead the development of new systems as needed
  • Collaborate on the development of work standards, capital equipment projects, and other assigned initiatives

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in automotive stamping, fabrication, welding, or tool and die environments
  • Strong understanding of metal manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and processes, preferably with familiarity in the Toyota Production System
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for collaborating in a hands-on, team-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude
  • Availability for domestic and overseas travel
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
