Nurse Director (NICU)

📍 Location: Brownsville, TX | 💰 $20,000 Sign-On Bonus | 🕒 Full-Time | Leadership Role

✅ Must-Haves:

• Active RN license in the state of TX (or eligible)

• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience

• At least 2 years of hospital management experience (Manager or Charge RN)

• Associate Degree in Nursing + Bachelor's in healthcare or BSN (Required)

• AHA BLS certification (Required)

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

👩‍⚕️ Lead Excellence in Neonatal Care

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate NICU Nursing Director to oversee and elevate care in our neonatal intensive care unit. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity reporting directly to the CNO, where you'll influence nursing operations across multiple units and play a key role in maintaining excellence in patient outcomes and team performance.

🏥 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide 24/7 operational and clinical oversight for NICU and other assigned units

• Support strategic planning, resource management, and quality improvement initiatives

• Lead, mentor, and develop clinical nursing staff to ensure competency and compliance

• Work collaboratively with senior leadership to implement hospital-wide nursing standards

• Ensure the highest quality, safe, and patient-centered care across all units

• Serve as a role model and advocate for professional nursing practice

🎓 Preferred Qualifications:

• MSN or Master’s in a healthcare-related field

• Proven track record in hospital operations and team leadership
