Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT)

LOCATION: Columbus, OH (West Suburb)

What They’re Looking For:

  • Required Certifications:

    • ARRT Nuclear Medicine registration or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification

    • Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License

    • BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)


Hours & Compensation:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift

  • Pay Range: $33.00 – $47.50 per hour (commensurate with experience)

  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

  • Benefits: Full comprehensive benefits package offered


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform routine and emergent Nuclear Medicine procedures using appropriate imaging equipment, accessories, and radiopharmaceutical agents.

  • Uphold all radiation safety standards and adhere to department protocols.

  • Receive, prepare, store, and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol.

  • Prepare exam rooms and assist patients with proper attire and comfort.

  • Provide compassionate, informative care and education to patients and their families throughout the imaging process.

  • Maintain manual and electronic patient records, complete clerical duties, and assist with department data entry.

  • Perform and document equipment quality control procedures, conduct routine maintenance, and report any equipment malfunctions.

  • Monitor and contribute to infection prevention and control efforts as part of daily operations.

  • Actively participate in departmental performance improvement activities.

  • Foster a respectful, reassuring, and professional environment for patients and staff alike.
