  • Exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine professional to attain NMTCB(CT) certification while enrolled with College of Health Professions.
  • Flexible schedule – 8-hour shifts.
  • Possible overtime occasionally.
  • No weekend shifts or on-call duties.
  • Location: Syracuse, NY.
  • Dynamic work environment in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department at Specialty Services Center.
  • Spacious office with rotating schedule Monday to Friday, between 6am and 5pm.

Job Summary:

  • · Executes all duties involving hybrid imaging in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department
  • · Calculates, orders, administers, and documents usage of radioactive isotopes
  • · Provides patients with detailed instructions on exam preparations
  • · Validates physician orders for procedures and ensures accurate patient identification
  • · Conducts all necessary quality control procedures
  • · Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • CNMT or ARRT(N) certification and NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License, current CPR certification. No prior PET experience necessary, training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications: NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification
