TITLE: Night Shift Nurse House Supervisor

What we are seeking:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is required, along with a current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in acute care clinical nursing, with exposure to various departments in this setting.
• Advanced knowledge of Case Management and Utilization Review processes, including familiarity with InterQual and regulations and guidelines related to acute-care patient status.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS.
Working hours and compensation potential:
• This is a full-time position (36 hours) with three 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekends.
• The salary range is $36.50 to $68.00 per hour, depending on experience, with an additional $5 per hour shift differential.
• A comprehensive benefits package is provided, which includes relocation assistance of up to $5,000 and sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
Roles and responsibilities:
• As the House Supervisor in a rural healthcare facility with 50 beds, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to patient admissions, transfers, and bed availability in specific clinical areas to enhance patient care and optimize bed utilization.
• You will ensure that patients are admitted to the most appropriate level of care and bed assignment based on admission criteria, and act as a liaison between Physicians, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Unit staff, Care Management Staff, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient operations.
• In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, you will assume the role of Administrator on Duty, making administrative decisions and providing oversight and guidance on operational matters for all hospital departments.
• You will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.
