What we are looking for:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is required, along with a valid Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• You must have three (3) to five (5) years of experience in acute care clinical nursing across various departments.
• Possess advanced knowledge of Case Management and Utilization Review processes, including proficiency in InterQual and acute-care patient status regulations and guidelines.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS.
Hours and compensation:
• This is a full-time position, requiring 36 hours of work per week on 3-12hr night shifts (7pm-7:30am), with rotating weekends.
• The salary range is between $45.00 and $75.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. You will also receive a $5 per hour shift differential.
• Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance (up to $5,000) and a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
What you will be responsible for:
• Serving as the House Supervisor for a 50-bed rural healthcare facility.
• Collecting and analyzing data on patient admissions, transfers, and bed availability within specified clinical areas to enhance patient care and optimize bed utilization.
• Ensuring that patients are assigned to the most appropriate level of care and available beds, based on admission criteria. Acting as a liaison between physicians, nursing leadership, nursing unit staff, care management staff, and other stakeholders to streamline operations.
• Assuming the role of Administrator on Duty in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, making administrative decisions, providing guidance and supervision during operational challenges across all hospital departments.
• Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.
