What we are looking for:
• A bachelor's degree in nursing is required, along with a current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• Previous clinical nursing experience in acute care settings for a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years, including exposure to various acute care nursing departments.
• In-depth knowledge of Case Management and Utilization Review processes, encompassing InterQual and acute-care patient status regulations and guidelines.
• Preferred certifications in ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS.
Working hours and compensation potential:
• This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week, comprising of three (3) 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am, with rotating weekends.
• The salary range is between $45.00 per hour and $75.00 per hour, contingent on experience level. A $5 per hour shift differential is applicable for night shifts.
• A comprehensive benefits package is provided, including relocation assistance of up to $5,000 and a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
Key responsibilities:
• Functioning as the House Supervisor for a 50-bed rural healthcare facility.
• Collecting and analyzing data on patient admissions, transfers, and bed availability in specific clinical areas to enhance patient care and optimize bed utilization.
• Ensuring patients are admitted to the most appropriate level of care and assigned to available beds, adhering to admission criteria. Acting as a liaison between Physicians, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Unit staff, Care Management Staff, and other vital stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Assuming the role of Administrator on Duty in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, making administrative decisions and providing guidance and supervision to all hospital departments on operational matters.
• Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer.
