We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Labor and Delivery Nursing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality care and service to our patients and their families, while also overseeing and supervising the functions and activities of the department. Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a team of clinicians
- Ensuring superior patient and customer satisfaction
- Overseeing and supervising department functions and activities
- Providing vital care to laboring mothers and their babies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- Registered Nurse license in California
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- California Fire and Life Safety Card (within 30 days of hire)
- Additional experience in specialty programs may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of direct clinical experience in a high-risk Labor and Delivery department
- 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Manager in a Labor and Delivery department or as a Charge Nurse
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field
- Experience working in a union environment
Skills:
- California Registered Nurse License
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 3+ years of direct clinical experience in a high-risk Labor and Delivery department
- 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Manager overseeing a Labor and Delivery department
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field
- Management experience
Ideal Candidate:
