Operating Room Nursing Supervisor

$150,000 – $200,000 + Signing Bonus + Paid Relocation

Responsible for managing a 24-hour department providing exceptional patient care services. Ensuring that the staff delivers high quality, accessible, cost-effective care and patient-focused services that comply with local, state, and federal requirements. Also responsible for developing and maintaining clinical standards of care and practice, as well as budgeting, selection, and development of necessary resources.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a BSN degree
- Proficient in the field of Operating Room nursing
- Prior experience as a Charge Nurse or Assistant Nurse Manager

The department comprises of 13 OR RN's, with approximately 47 direct reports, handling an average of 1,100 cases per month. The surgeries performed include general, ENT, GYN, robotic, bariatric, plastic & reconstructive, orthopedic, joint replacements, sports medicine, and gender re-assignment. Please note that we do not perform spine, heart, or neuro cases at this location.

Requirements (non-negotiable)

• Minimum 5 years of full-time equivalent experience as an OR RN, with no acceptance of experience gained in an ambulatory surgery center. The experience should be current or very recent.
• Minimum 3 years of full-time equivalent experience as an OR Manager or Supervisor, with Charge Nurse experience not meeting this requirement. Minimal experience gained in an ambulatory surgery center may be accepted. The experience should be current or very recent.

Preferred

• MSN degree
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
• Experience in a management role in a union environment
