What We’re Looking For:

Current RN license in the state of Kansas.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

6 months to 1 year of related nursing experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
Hours & Compensation:
-
Schedule: Full-time, 3 nights per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend, rotating holidays.

Pay Range: $30–$58/hour, based on experience. Additional compensation for:

BSN degree
-
Shift differentials: $2.00/hr evenings, $2.50/hr nights, $2.70/hr weekends.

Sign-on/relocation bonus: $5,000 for a 1-year commitment or $10,000 for a 2-year commitment

What You’ll Be Doing:
-
Deliver general nursing care to patients in a hospital setting.
-
Use AIDET framework in all communications with patients, visitors, and staff.
-
Welcome and assist visitors, escorting them as needed.
-
Receive patient assignments and bedside reports from outgoing staff.

Maintain the patient’s White Communication Board.

Perform and document real-time head-to-toe assessments for all assigned patients.

Monitor and document patient conditions, notify providers of significant changes, and update Charge Nurse or House Supervisor as necessary.

Monitor telemetry, lab results, and communicate updates accordingly.

Perform Hourly Rounding with assistive staff, provide patient education, and document accordingly.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments using approved nursing techniques and Med/Verify.

Educate patients and families consistently throughout the shift, with proper documentation.
Additional Information:

Facility is a not-for-profit acute care hospital with fewer than 50 beds.

Patient-to-nurse ratio target is 5:1, though typically ranges from 3–4:1.
