Desired Qualifications:
•Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and hold an active Ohio RN License.
•Current ACLS/CPR certification is required.
•Nursery, Lactation, and Pediatrics experience is preferred.
•Experience with a Level 2 NICU is necessary; Pediatrics experience would be an added advantage.
Hours and Compensation:
•The clinic educator position is full-time on day shifts, with no weekend obligations.
•The salary range is between $67,500 and $93,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
•A comprehensive benefits package is included.
Responsibilities:
•Implement education programs for our Nursery, Lactation, and Pediatric Department, and collaborate with the Director to address other educational needs within the Women and Children's Service line.
•Coordinate the implementation of programs based on sound adult learning principles.
•Plan and execute mandatory education programs in accordance with OSHA, AHA, and HFAP guidelines.
•Assist in new employee orientation, matching them with suitable mentors, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Provide ongoing support and evaluate progress.
•Oversee education record completion, scheduling and tracking of mandatory education and recertification. Provide training on unit-specific equipment and procedures.
•Communicate policy changes and EPIC issues to the department, acting as a super user for the system.
•Serve as a liaison for various programs and accreditation, participating in survey preparation and the survey process for ODH and HFAP. Collaborate with Education Services and local universities to establish clinical opportunities.
•Facilitate large and small group training sessions, maintaining a positive outlook.
