Nursing Education Manager / Program Chair

🚨 Must-Haves:

• Active RN license

• BSN required, Master’s degree preferred (Nursing Education, Healthcare Admin, etc.)

• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience

• 2+ years in nursing education or leadership

• Strong background in curriculum development, competency assessments, and staff training

• Familiarity with accreditation standards (Joint Commission, ANCC, etc.)

• Experience using LMS platforms and training technology

🩺 About the Role:

We’re seeking a mission-driven Nursing Education Manager to lead and elevate staff education across our nursing programs. You’ll design and implement innovative training strategies that drive clinical excellence, patient safety, and staff development. This is a leadership position where your expertise will directly shape the future of nursing care in our organization.

🌟 What You’ll Do:

• Develop and deliver educational programs for onboarding, continuing education, and specialty training

• Lead competency assessments and skills evaluations to identify training needs and ensure clinical proficiency

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies such as the Joint Commission and ANCC

• Use LMS and digital tools to manage and track all educational activities

• Collaborate with department heads, HR, and external educators to align training with strategic goals

• Mentor nurse educators and support clinical preceptorship for new hires and students

• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes using data, staff feedback, and patient care metrics

• Manage department budget and resources for optimal training delivery

• Contribute to policy development related to staff education and clinical best practices

🎓 Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s in Nursing Education, Healthcare Admin, or related field

• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or similar certification

• BLS or ACLS Instructor Certification

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Deep understanding of adult learning principles, training evaluation, and quality improvement
