Workplace Health Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Workplace Health Nurse. In this position, you will play a vital role in promoting and restoring health, preventing illness and injury, and managing cases related to disability and Workers' Compensation.

Responsibilities:

• Health Promotion and Restoration: Take charge of health initiatives, such as organizing health fairs and managing blood lead monitoring.
• Emergency Treatment: Provide immediate care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Policy Management: Develop and enforce health services policies and procedures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local health regulations.
• Medical Surveillance: Conduct medical surveillance and biological monitoring in accordance with OSHA Lead standards.
• Counseling: Coordinate intervention counseling for employees regarding their blood-lead levels.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nursing License: Must hold an active nursing license in the relevant state.
• Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience: At least 2 years of experience in Occupational Health or Nursing Management.
• Blood Draw Experience: Proficiency in performing blood draws.

Preferred:

• Knowledge and experience with Worker’s Compensation.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $70,000 to $95,000.
• Full-time with full benefits.
