Workplace Health Nurse

This position is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of employees, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and managing cases related to disability and Workers’ Compensation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Health Promotion and Wellness: Organize and oversee health programs, including health fairs and lead management.
• Emergency Care: Provide immediate care for occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries.
• Policy Implementation: Maintain and implement healthcare policies and procedures.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local health regulations.
• Medical Surveillance: Administer medical surveillance and biological monitoring according to OSHA standards.
• Employee Counseling: Coordinate counseling interventions for employees regarding blood-lead levels.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nursing License: Must possess a valid nursing license in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum 5 Years of Experience: At least 5 years of professional nursing experience, with 2 years in Occupational Health or Nursing Management.
• Blood Collection Experience: Proficient in drawing blood samples.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Worker’s Compensation: Familiarity with Worker’s Compensation regulations and processes.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $75,000 to $95,000 per year.
• Full-time Position: This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits.
