Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate and design personalized treatment plans for individuals based on their medical diagnoses
- Implement treatment strategies aimed at enhancing individuals' functional independence
- Assess and document the progress of residents through detailed recertification, progress reports, and daily notes
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of residents' sensitive information
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care services by reviewing resident and department records
- Provide clinical supervision to occupational therapy assistants
- Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to documentation
- Create, organize, and compile OT-related reports and data as instructed by the Rehab Director
- Support departmental projects as required
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Valid Occupational Therapy License in the state of New York
- Prior experience in the field is advantageous
