Associate Attorney - Real Estate Law

Our client, a highly regarded law firm ranked in the AmLaw 100, is seeking a skilled associate attorney specializing in real estate law to join their Real Estate Group located in Nashville. This presents an exceptional opportunity for a real estate attorney with expertise in commercial properties to become part of a growing team in a vibrant market.
Profile of Ideal Candidate:
- Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a prestigious law school with an exceptional academic track record.
- Must be admitted to the Tennessee Bar.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of substantial experience dealing with commercial real estate matters, including development, investments, financing, and leases.
- Proven experience in representing national retailers, lenders, developers, and private equity or institutional investors.
- Exhibit outstanding skills in writing, analysis, and communication.
- Preferably have a small client base with portable real estate or transaction business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a diverse range of real estate transactions, encompassing the purchase, sale, financing, development, and leasing of various types of properties.
- Handle conventional real estate matters, including due diligence on titles and surveys, preparation and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, and real estate corporate governance (e.g., joint ventures).
- Provide legal guidance to national and institutional clients in real estate finance transactions as part of lender representation.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the law firm's national real estate platform to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.
