Of Counsel / Junior Partner – Construction Litigation

Our client, a well-established national law firm ranked in the AmLaw 100, is in search of an experienced attorney specializing in Construction Litigation. This position is open at the firm's Orlando location and presents a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding team dedicated to handling complex construction litigation matters.

Qualifications:

• Must have obtained a Juris Doctor degree from a top-tier law school, with a proven track record of academic excellence.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of substantive experience in litigating construction-related matters.
• Demonstrated expertise in representing contractors, developers, and property owners in construction litigation, payment disputes, design and defect claims, and contract negotiations.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Approaches tasks with a productive and positive mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal representation to clients throughout the entire construction process, including contract preparation, negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution.
• Handle a wide range of litigation matters, from contract administration issues to alternative dispute resolution proceedings like mediation and arbitration.
• Collaborate closely with a knowledgeable team on significant infrastructure programs and projects, offering expert advice on risk management and claims analysis.
• Take the lead in managing cases at various stages of litigation, including discovery, motions practice, and trial.
