Oncology Sales Specialist – GYN
Position: Clinical Oncology Specialist - GYN Oncology (COS-GYN)
Location: Southeastern Region (Based in Atlanta or Charlotte)
Role Overview: As the Clinical Oncology Specialist - GYN Oncology (COS-GYN), you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the GYN Oncology sector. Your primary responsibility will be engaging with Gynecologic Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Pathologists, and other key providers across the care continuum within your territory.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic plan to exceed sales targets. Take charge of all aspects of business performance, including sales activities, account acquisition, customer retention, and cross-functional initiatives.

Building Relationships: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with healthcare providers and accounts. Educate them about our offerings, identify key opportunities, and provide customized solutions.

Product and Market Expertise: Acquire a deep understanding of our products, services, processes, and the competitive landscape. Stay informed about payer and reimbursement dynamics.

Achieving Sales Targets: Drive sales growth by acquiring new patients, enhancing user engagement, and expanding accounts. Collaborate with the Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS) and other internal teams to manage contract renewals, resolve issues, and monitor financial performance.

Engaging with KOLs: Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in partnership with the Medical team.

Strategic Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities with academic and community cancer centers, clinics, and hospitals. Work with stakeholders to develop care pathways, establish institutional collaborations, and facilitate EMR integrations.

Business Planning: Create and implement a comprehensive business plan to attract and retain clients, aligned with national objectives and organizational values.

Executing Sales Strategies: Implement sales tactics and marketing plans, and leverage opportunities for revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of successful experience in Gynecologic Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Pathology, or Laboratory sales, with a proven track record.
- Familiarity with the GYN Oncology/Oncology market, molecular diagnostics, personalized medicine, and reimbursement processes.
- Willingness to travel overnight as required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, financial acumen, and excellent communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Typically based in medical offices or hospital settings.
- Proficient in computer use, telephone communication, and reading printed materials.
- May require working outside of standard hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Approximately 75% travel is required.
