Oncology Sales Specialist – GYN
Position: Clinical Oncology Specialist - Gynecologic Oncology (COS-GYN)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Pacific Northwest Coverage)
Role Overview: As a Clinical Oncology Specialist - Gynecologic Oncology (COS-GYN), you will be responsible for driving growth and success in the Gynecologic Oncology sector. Your main focus will be engaging with Gynecologic Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Pathologists, and other key providers in your territory across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities:

Territory Management Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed sales targets. Manage all aspects of business performance, including sales activities, customer acquisition, retention, and cross-functional initiatives.

Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and accounts. Educate them about our products, identify opportunities, and provide customized solutions.

Product and Market Knowledge: Gain comprehensive knowledge of products, services, processes, and the competitive landscape. Understand the dynamics of payer and reimbursement systems.

Sales Achievement: Drive sales growth by acquiring new patients, increasing user engagement, and expanding accounts. Collaborate with the Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS) and other internal teams to manage renewals, resolve issues, and monitor financial performance.

Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in collaboration with the Medical team.

Strategic Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities with academic and community cancer centers, clinics, and hospitals. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop care pathways, establish collaborations, and facilitate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) integrations.

Business Planning: Create and implement a comprehensive business plan to attract and retain clients, aligned with national objectives and organizational values.

Sales Execution: Implement sales strategies and marketing plans, leveraging opportunities for revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in Gynecologic Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Pathology, or Laboratory sales with proven results.
- Familiarity with Gynecologic Oncology/Oncology market, molecular diagnostics, personalized medicine, and reimbursement processes.
- Willingness to travel overnight as required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, financial acumen, and effective communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Typically based in medical offices or hospital settings.
- Proficiency in computer use, telephone communication, and reading printed materials is required.
- May require working outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Approximately 75% travel required.
