Job Summary:
The position of Chemical Manufacturing Operations Manager entails the oversight of manufacturing operations and inventory management across multiple facilities. The main focus is on managing budgets, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining quality standards, and enhancing safety measures. This hands-on leadership role involves driving operational efficiencies, managing profit and loss statements, and implementing process improvements to align with the company's goals.
Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in operations leadership is required, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience of 10+ years in senior management, particularly in chemical manufacturing, with a proven track record of sales growth in new markets would be a valuable asset.
- Demonstrated initiative in process improvement, project oversight, and leadership abilities is essential.
- Strong negotiation skills, basic understanding of ERP systems, and experience in sales management are desired.
